Cold Men Young

Like to stay up on new music? Well, I'll start bringing you new, "slept on" artists who I think are definitely worth a listen. I find these artists through word-of-mouth, research or just by simply stumbling upon them one way or another.

The first group I will bring to you is composed of four great artists who goes by Cold Men Young hailing from Detroit, MI. And yes, it does sound similar to the former mayor, Coleman Young. There's Kopelli; Mic (pronounced Mike) Write; Blaksmith; & Young Phenom. They definitely show great talent for something different than what you're hearing nowadays. They are speaking a different message; more than just guns & killing or sex & girls. They are sending a message of what needs to be said and heard in lyrical ways that captivate you. "This bad economy got me willing to pop off. The murder rate is rising, unemployment rate is climbing. But I see the silver-lining...", the beginning of Blaksmith's verse to their hot Det-Riot! song. The beats and their flows put you in a "hip-hop" state of mind, if you follow.

They already have many pieces for you to check out. In 2009 they released a free EP called #Leaked, an 8-track mixtape with popular beats. In 2010 they released Champagne Nights/Red Stripe Budget. This is an album full of 16, well put together tracks with dope beats and great lyrics. More recently, Kopelli dropped a song by the name of Caught My Eye early this year. Through the feature of an Akira Shelton lending his vocal abilities for the hook, this turned out to be a nice song a young man could dance to with his lady friend. Most recently, as of this month, Mic Write and Blaksmith dropped H.A.W.K., standing for Heal Apathy With Knowledge; with the hook given by a Pierre Anthony. This informative track makes you not only want to think but you will be vibing to the jazz-type feel of the beat.

Cold Men Young is a very dope group that you should check out in your spare time. They definitely will not disappoint and you can add great, new artists to your music library. Below is a link to listen to the whole album of Champagne Nights/Red Stripe Budget. If you don't have time to listen all the way through, a couple go-to tracks are Det-Riot! and Spit It. You can also check out all of their other music through the link. Enjoy.

The Forgotten Verse

As the Russel Maddox project "Sandbox" is well underway. I created a verse that was going to be off my project "Everyday Is A-Day." But thought this verse would fit well on a track for Russel Maddox.

I would like to place this verse on the track "Crazy Man" or "Eyes Freeze"
Well... here is the verse, and one of my favorites. (May hurt some feelings with this one)

Verse
Aww man, this life is a bliss
remember all your times filled with full happiness
remember your first time when you sipped a little wine
and you found that special girl and thought that she was a dime
Well... I could give a fuck about my first fuck
on my birthday she felt that she had to give it up
its funny aint it, we never talked again
until I found out from a friend she went full lesbian
I guess thats life, she'll regret it in the end
moms wont let her tie the knot, cause gay marriage is a sin
But damn i learned from that and thought I moved right on
but my new girl knew her they started gettin it on
all these little hoes have raging hormones
I dick the game down deep so you can see how a whore moans
so goodbye to these girls ima have to leave
Cause god made Adam and eve, not Adam and Steve.

One of my favorite verses I ever created. Let me know what you think.

(My Gone/High/I Dont Give A SHIT pic)

Get It Right, Get It Tight

Summer is definitely upon us. We are getting the hints of warm, even hot weather; more rain, as opposed to snow; and just more sunny days in general. But what does all that really mean? Get that body right! What's really one of the best aspects of the Summer season? Seeing some sexy bodies! Whether you're a man or woman, you expect to have eye candy wherever you go during these hot months. April and May is your time to make this hot body happen, unless you're one of those over-achieving people who really work out consistently throughout the whole year...losers. No, really that is the best way to do it, but for those who slack off (me), there are simple, yet not all that easy ways in getting your body right by summertime. Beaches, pool parties, outdoor sports, outdoor tanning, water parks, summer love...having a great body makes all that 10 times better. Why? Because you look great doing it! And although it'll feel good knowing that that hot girl or sexy guy keeps checking you out, you'll ultimately feel better about yourself. Nice abs, hard calves, toned arms, chest muscles are not that hard to achieve. It's as simple as CONSISTENT trips to the gym or you can even convert everyday things in your house into workout equipment.
Here are some simple, "short-cuts" to achieving a better body by the Summer. But remember, although these are somewhat easier exercises, you have to full out do them on a regular basis.

Abs: simple workouts you can do at home to get a great looking abdomen - 4pack, 6pack, V-cuts

Legs: simple workouts you can do at home to tone your legs and build muscle - Calves, Thighs, Hamstrings

Chest: these chest exercises include workouts you can do at home. Some can be executed with just your body, others will need dumbbells, or something of the sort

Arms: Triceps - at home exercises with no equipment
Biceps - most of these exercises will require weights of some sort
Forearms - these exercises will involve the use of dumbbells or similar weights to build muscle

Now remember, only you know your body so don't push yourself too far. Push yourself so you will do it, but never overdo it. Consistently combining these workouts will have your body looking A1 for the Summer.

Shared Memory #2

This one includes Fred (Do you ever want me to put your real name on here, D, lol) and myself. Oh yea it also includes the other 20 people we were partying with. I recently reminded Fred of this moment a few days ago, so here it is. While on our first out of many trips to M.S.U, we were all at our boy Nick's dorm partying it up on Thirsty Thursday. With a little Svedka and Orange Hawaiian Punch in our system, we developed a little buzz. Fred and I were standing around the room eavesdropping on a conversation. A girl (I think her name was Casper, Or Chap) asked us if we knew what the 100's were. Apparently she was talking about another party, sorority, who knows? Since we were in the dorm I just responded "yea, the hundreds is the first floor." Somehow that became the funniest moment of that night, and a great Shared Memory with Fred. It's got to be great if we're still laughing at that night. Good Times With Good People

Summer Essentials: Ocular Protection

Stunnas, shades, sunglasses, frames, hater blockas: Whatever you call them, they're an important part of Summer. Whether you're using them solely as an accessory, or to ward off the harmful rays of the sun, you're gonna want to look good. Here's a short list to help you pick out the right Sunglasses for your summer
  1. First and foremost white frames are a no-no. Know who wears white frames? Douchebags and jack-asses, that's who. Nobody looks good when wearing white frames. Trust me
  2. Lenses tinted any color other than black make you look like you're on your way to play beach volleyball. So steer clear, unless you want to look like this guy.
  3. Mirrored lenses are nice. They let you see out and no one can see in. They're also helpful for times when you can't find a mirror. This guy knows wassup.
  4. Aviators are cool. Always have been, always will be.
  5. Only want one pair of shades to go with everything? Then pick up a pair with black frames and black lenses. All black everything.
  6. Apart from looking good and good on you, they should be comfortable. Don't buy anything too small or too big. People can tell that they don't fit and you''ll look silly.
Alright, now you know a few things to remember when buying sunglasses for the summer. Grab me a pair while you're out.
Tips:
Don't worry about getting designer frames. Some of the nicest shades I've seen have been some of the cheapest also.
If you do have the cash to spend to cop a nice designer pair, protect them. If you take care of them, they'll take care of you.
Don't wear your glasses inside or at night. You'll look silly.
Please don't buy the comically big shades that cover most of your face. Nothing wrong with bigger glasses, but if I can only see your hair and chin, then we've got a problem

When Awkward Moments Go...Right?

We've all had those strangely awkward moments where you make continual random eye contact with a stranger; you start talking to a random stranger that you think is your friend for some odd reason; waving to a random stranger who you think is your friend...strangers are very deceiving *smh*; conspicuously checking out a person you THINK is sexy until you're face-to-face trying to think of a reason why you could've possibly been staring so hard other than that. No one is alone when it comes to these moments. But, I've found that the best way to get out of those situations is to just go along with it!
When you realize that you have a borderline stalker staring at you every time you look up, don't turn away really fast, stare back at them very deeply! You'll make them feel so awkward they'll completely turn their whole body around. Want to freak them out a little more? Give 'em a little "eyebrow raise". They'll think you're the perv that's been staring them down for the past 15 minutes. It's quite fun actually.
You start talking to a stranger that you could swear looks like your friend from behind? Just start a funny, casual conversation with them. If you haven't started off saying some reckless shit, chances are they will go right along with you and think it's funny. [I've done this plenty of times, trust me.] But instead of feeling embarrassed, just laugh at yourself and have some humor about it. You never know, it could brighten their day up.
Waving at a random passer-by you thought was your friend? No problem. When they get that awkward look like, "Is he waving at me?!", give 'em that "Yeah, you" nod. Unless they're just a weird person, they'll confidently smile and wave back in good humor, or because they think they F'd up in not remembering someone they've met before.
EASIEST way to get out of checking out a "mirage" is by walking up to them after you two have been staring so much and saying, "Hey, did you know you have something in your hair? Thought you should know". They'll feel more embarrassed about that and trying to hook up with you somehow will be the farthest thing from their mind. Not feeling so mean? Just simply say, "Oh, I'm sorry I thought I knew you from somewhere, wrong person though". There is no disputing that, unless you just have bad luck and a persistent, loser, weirdo really wants to get at you. Then, I'm sorry.

Summer Essentials: The Cookout

Summer is almost upon us! Which means it's time to start planning your cookouts! I decided to put together a list of all the things you'll need to make your cookouts perfect. Check it out
  1. Food- Obviously you're gonna need food. Simple things like hot dogs, sausages, burgers, and chicken. These are all easy to cook and affordable. Don't worry about steaks and shit. Unless you got it like that, then of course, worry about steaks and shit. Oh, you're gonna need potato salad and/or a pasta salad too. Side dishes are a must
  2. Grill- Two choices Gas or Charcoal? Gas is easier to use, it starts faster, and maintains heat better. However the propane tanks can be a bit pricey. Ask anybody and you'll hear Charcoal tastes WAY better, but it's takes a awhile to get started, can cook food unevenly, and requires you to watch the food closer. Real men use Charcoal though.
  3. Drinks- It's hot, maybe humid, so you're gonna need a few refreshing beverages for your guests. I'm a fan of lemonade (Simply being the best) but you could also try other drinks. Limeade is good and comes in a variety of flavors, fruit punch is a crowd pleaser, and homemade punches are nice too. If you're gonna be serving alcohol, beer is great or make a big batch of a mixed drink for people to sip on.
  4. Music- A cookout is basically the toned down version of a house party. It'll show you a good time, but it won't get too crazy. Your music should get that across. Don't play shit like "Shots"-LMFAO, instead go for something up tempo but laid back. You want your guest to relax but not fall asleep. Throwback jams are ALWAYS welcome at a cookout. So breakout your faves
  5. The Guest List- The final and perhaps most important item on the list is who you're actually inviting to this lil shindig. Known party poopers should be left at home. They'll bring down the mood and ruin someone else's time. Don't bring the guy who's gonna eat all the food, or the chick who's gonna be on her phone the whole time. The point of these things is for everyone to enjoy themselves, so invite the right guests!
If everything goes right, a daytime cookout could definitely turn into a nighttime house party. Just make all the necessary preparations and you should be fine. Have fun!
Tips:
Can't afford to buy everything for a cookout? Well ask your guests to bring supplies for the party, food, drinks, plastic plates, etc. They shouldn't mind as long as you approach them correctly.
A few people you want to/should invite but they might ruin a good time? Talk to them before hand and explain that their past behavior has offended some so be cool at the party.

Best Show Of All Time?

Let me start off saying that we have been posting great things on this website. We cover every topic. The posts we make are creative and clever, along with our own personal tastes. Expect more good things to come. While people have noticed my dedication Rap/Hip-Hop I also love my televison shows. Since I can remember, running up to the T.V. whenever I heard the theme song. AHHHHHHHHHHH The Simpsons. Has always and still is my favorite T.V. show. I love taking Simpsons quizes and love challenging friends and peers with knowledge. Test me people, I will school you all in my Simpsons knowledge. After my 20 years on this planet I give you my top 5 Simpsons spisodes.

5. Burns Heir. One of my personal favorites just because I always wanted to be Bart in this situation. Becoming Mr. Burns heir to his money. Bart has everything he's ever wanted as a child. But then realizes how much his family meens to him.

4. Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? My main reason that I love this episode is that it is set in Michigan. Homer visits his brother Herb, who owns a car company. He then lets Homer create a car, called "The Homer" leading to his bankruptcy.

3. Homer The Herectic Homer decides not to go to church on Sundays, declaring the extra hour will give him a lot of free time. If you want a great laugh this is the episode.

2. Angry Dad Bart creates a comic book about Homers angry outbursts, and depicts Homer as The Hulk. This episode has one of my favorite lines of all time as well. Radio: Dont you hate carpet stores that charge extra for the under-padding. Homer: I HATE THEM SO MUCH. Hahahhaha

1.Grampa Vs. Sexual Inadequacy Just my favorite episode of all time. Homer & Grandpa create a love potion and go on the road to sell it. This is an hilarious episode and my favorite.

Well there is my list of the greatest show of all time. The Simpsons.

Childish Gambino!

So if you read my last post about Mr. Donald Glover, aka, Childish Gambino, you already know who he is and know that dude is coming up! Since I got on, I've been listening to his music nonstop. I'm hearing more and more of his great singing ability and his growing flow as a rapper. He states it quite a few times in his music, about how he didn't come into making music taking it seriously as a an artist. It was more of a "side" thing on top of everything else he does. Listening to his older tracks and comparing those to his new, you can hear how much more serious he's become and the hunger in his rapping.
And if I haven't yet, I definitely have to applaud him for being true to himself and rapping about what he knows. He's not rapping about guns or being a thug. Throughout his music I've noticed that he often references about his music not "being Black or White", and how he isn't making music to be directed towards any one group of people.
Gambino says, "...These smart middle class Black kids need a role model...". Me being young and Black and surrounded by music that has everything to do with violence, drugs, drinking, etc., I must say it's always a breath of fresh air to hear an artist strictly make music about their life and what they know...even if half of what they know is all about "f****n different kinds of bitches".
Either way it goes, Childish Gambino is making some quality music. Even Addidas recognizes it by having Freaks & Geeks theme their new Adicolor commercial featuring Dwight Howard. Two of my favorite tracks off of his latest release of music (March) in a 5 track free EP (featuring Freaks & Geeks) are Be Alone and Lights Turned On. The 1st track, Be Alone, comes in with a very beautifully sang chorus. It is a true track to that feeling of loneliness, longing for someone and even betrayal. Lights Turned On, the 4th track has a complete opposite feel than the 1st. It has a cool, fun, sexy feel to it. This track is because it has sort of an underlying techno beat to it. And yes, I did say sexy..."I want the lights turned on...", now tell me where your mind runs to...and that's exactly what it is about. Ending with this stronger techno beat, which goes surprisingly well, this song will make you want to play it back a few times. So go ahead and click the link below to listen and/or download Childish Gambino's free EP. Enjoy!

Carpe Diem!

Ever woke up just feeling absolutely GREAT!? I don't know why, but I did this morning! I feel unstoppable right now! Could it be the music I'm listening to? I have some Jason Mraz going right now, really feeling it. I don't have much to do today and I will be partying tonight, "Thirsty Thursday", with my good homebros. Maybe that's why I'm feeling so great. Whatever the case, I won't question it.
When you have a feeling like this, there's nothing better to do than embrace it and let NOTHING get you down! Listen to some great music, share some jokes with some good friends, eat some good food, make it a great day no matter what! Life is short, don't miss out on the good days because in life, it seems like the bad outweighs the good sometimes.
Take life one day at a time, but seize any and every [good] opportunity you can! You never know if you'll really get another chance to get what you want, do what you love or be with certain people...so do what you while you can! You know you have something good going when you know how not to rush through life, yet you live fast. You know how to put your all into everything you do, yet not overdo it. You know how to work hard then have some great fun with great friends.
Just because life feels like "work" doesn't mean it has to be. I don't work now, play later...I work and play at the same time. Only way I can feel like I'm doing something right, because that's what makes me happy. Live it up and do what makes you happy, always!

Top 10 Artists I Would Love To See Comeback

Some of my favorite artists/groups are from the mid 2000 era. Shit it's what I grew up with. There have been many artists that have left the scene, split up with groups, or simply haven't dropped because.... Who knows?
Well starting at #10 the list begins

#10. Mystikal
I know due to all the scandals and jail time the man has gone through, it has been hard to drop an album. But shit, he made "Tarantula," which is one of my favorite albums growing up. I think we can all agree that Bouncin Back was a hit. I loved the energy Mystikal brought with every track.

#9. Jurassic 5
One of my all time favorite groups. The album "Power in Numbers" ranks in the top 25 of my favorite albums of all time. The group works so well together and creates a sound that hip-hop is not accustomed to. The opening to "Remember His Name" is probably my favorite introduction to a song. Hello, Who is this? Its me Dakhir. Not to mention the track "End Up Like This" which is one of the realest songs ever made. It describes my generation perfectly.

#8 Korn
I'm not all Hip-Hop people. Korn along with my #2 are my favorite bands. I can remember the first time i heard Korn. One friday morning before elementary school i woke up to MTV (when the played videos) and immediately fell in love with "Somebody, Someone." To this day that is still one of my favorite songs by them. "Untouchables" will forever be one of my favorite rock albums of all time. Korn's music and Johnathan Davis's voice go hand in hand with each other. Let myself, Tony Menzo and MARK D'NUNZ not forget the Korn session we had back in the summer.

#7. Method Man
It has been a long long time since Meth-I-Cal has dropped an album, ("4:21...The Day After") which was a great release by him. The reason Meth needs to drop is that wikipedia has lied way too many times about "Crystal Meth" being released. I would just like to hear a single to hold me over. The guest features just do not cut it for me, and the "Wu-Massacre" had to be one of the shittiest compilation albums i've ever listened to. All that hype from 3 Wu heavyweights for nothing.

#6. Wu-Tang Clan
As much as I would like to hear a solo Meth project, I would much rather hear the old Shaolin sounds from the Wu-Tang. Rza has been on his production grind lately with 2 of the best produced tracks i've ever heard from him. (Dark Fantasy, So Appalled). But this group just works so well together. I don't know if there is tension between the group or not, but they need to drop an album ASAP. That Wu logo tatted on my back is beginning to wear off.

#5. Jedi Mind Tricks
Mine and Michael Scott's favorite group. My senior year of high school they dropped "A History Of Violence" which took up all hour and a half of my pre calculus class. I could not stop listening to this album. Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind ranks right behind The Rza in my top 5 producers. If anyone has ever heard a JMT project, they will agree he has the best beats in town. I would also love JMT to drop a new album so I can finally see them in concert and mosh around with the diverse crowd that comes to there shows. Last year the JMT frontman, Vinnie Paz, dropped his solo album "Season Of The Assassin" which was an incredible album, but just didn't give me the full JMT experience.

#4. The Game
All I have to say about Game is... Where in the fuck is "The RED Album" at?

#3. DMX
One of the hardest MC's to ever do it. The Dog, X man. I understand X has been in and out of jail for several years now, recently his wife divorced him, but this is an MC that hip-hop needs right about now. For my taste I am starting to see the ever growing trend of hipster/back pack rappers. There are a select few that are talented. But this is starting to be the future of hip-hop. X needs to come back with another classic Swizz Beatz single and show the game where hip-hop is at. Regardless if you like X or not you have to admit the fact he did his thing, and a few problems are bringing down a very talented MC.

#2. System Of A Down
I love having conversations with my cousin Josh about S.O.A.D. and have recently found out a friend of mine is really into the group. I don't care what type of music you like. S.O.A.D. is a great band. Many people cannot take the screaming that Serj is famous for, but most people also haven't sat through an entire song. The lyrics are phenomenal, the music is incredible and looses you at some points. I would love to see them come out with a new album just to hear quality music again. It has been a while since i made a countdown for an album. Before "Recovery" this was the last time i made one, with their album "Hypnotize."

#1.OUTKAST

Big Boi oh boy where have these gentlemen been. Last year Big Boi released "Sir Lucious Leftfoot: The Son Of Chico Dusty" which was easily a candidate for album of the year. There was also a nice bullshit verse from the so called G.O.A.T. Andre 3000 On the "Deuces Remix." I guarantee if they were to drop an album at this second they would sell millions. I want to hear that old Southernplaya muzik. I want to feel like an Atlien and adventure into the world of Stankonia. This is one of the greatest duo's of all time. People also put the G.O.A.T. tag on Andre when a solo album hasen't been released. This group needs to come back into everyones lives. Although they have made countless classics. People would like to hear them in this day and age. With new artists out and producers there is no telling what an Outkast album could sound like.

Things Everybody Hates

Thought I'd make a list of things nobody likes. If you do like something on this list you're probably the type of person who finds dogs and children attractive. Fucking Sicko.
  1. Drying off with wet towels
  2. Black jelly beans and licorice
  3. Finding other people's hair on you
  4. Finding out you didn't have to be somewhere for another hr
  5. That one person on Facebook who keeps trying to add you
  6. Fat girls in clothes that are too small

Donald Glover: Actor or Rapper?

If you've ever watched the comedic TV show Community or Comedy Central stand-ups, then you probably know who Donald Glover is...the Black guy. Residing in New York, by way of Atlanta, he is a comedian who also writes and raps. He is also 1/5 of the people behind Derrick Comedy (derrickcomedy.com). If you have, or even haven't, heard of them, something any fan of Comedy should check out is a movie called Mystery Team by Derrick Comedy. This is starring Donald Glover and three others from Derrick Comedy; all I can say is: HILARIOUS. And if that wasn't enough credit to prove that he knows his jokes, he also write for the show 30Rock. But what few people may know is that he not only raps, but he is damn good at it. He goes by the name of Childish Gambino as a rap artist. I honestly recently started listening to him, I heard that he rapped, but didn't think it would be serious so I brushed him off. Searching for some new music the other day, I came across a song he did over Kanye West's All of The Lights beat called Break, so I gave it a listen.....it was great. I'm not exactly sure yet, but I think he is also singing on the track, and he can do that as well. After really feelin' that track, I saw that someone released an unofficial mixtape by the name of I Do Not Talk. I ususally pass right over unofficial mixtapes, but it's a compilation of 20 songs from his old albums and mixtapes, so I figured what better way to listen to his music. There isn't much I can say to describe it besides different, good and funny [lyrics]. The beats are amazing. They are all different and incorporate different sounds, but nonetheless, very hot. I started from track one and just "vibed" through the whole thing. Although I will admit, towards the end the tracks started lacking what it had going in the beginning. I Do Not Talk is definitely a great listen to get into his music, I highly recommend it if you're looking to add a new artist to your music library. Click the links below to listen and/or download his new song Break and the mixtape I Do Not Talk. Enjoy!

"They Call Me Rittz, Bitch!"

All I can say is, RITTZ. To simply put it, Rittz is a dope rapper. Southern rapper reppin' GA, claimin' Slumerican. He has the rhymes, flow, lyrics, beats...what more is there to ask for? Oh I know, bass, if you're into bangin' music in your ride...well, he definitely has that too. I first heard of him through a feature on Yelawolf's mixtape, Trunk Music. The song Box Chevy, which is a very good song and mixtape to check out, by the way. Rittz came in hard on his verse for Box Chevy. He flowed with the beat well and most importantly, had a verse that greatly added to the point of Yela's song. Ever since then I've been a fan. Recently I discovered he has a mixtape out by the name of White Jesus....funny, I know...but once you see him, it'll all make sense [And don't freak out, he actually says, "Don't trip cuz this ain't blasphemy...it's just a nickname"]. Now let's be honest for a minute: When you think rapper, you generally think "Black dude". When I first heard Rittz, I thought, Black dude. There are few White rappers that have a huge amount of respect for how much talent they have. And because of the fact that rappers in general are Black, it was very surprising when I found out that he is a White guy, so much respect goes to him in my book. White Jesus is filled with 12 great tracks going from how much bang is in his trunk; partying with friends and, for lack of a better word, sluts; relationships; going through rough times in life; even about being able to tell the truth, or lack there of; & much more. There's a lot of substance throughout these 12 songs. He also features greats like Big K.R.I.T. and Yelawolf. If any of the above interests you, this is a great tape to download and just ride out to. Go ahead and click on the link below to give it a listen, I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Ready For Something New?

If you know Chase Alexander, A-Day Da Name or myself, you know that the three of us love music. What many may not know, is that we all listen to more than just Hip Hop. I will go as far as to say, about anyone, you do not have a true appreciation of music if you limit yourself to only one genre of it. You have to be open to all different types. Different kinds give you different feels, emotions, thoughts...you'd be surprised at what you might like if you expand your music horizons. I listen to ALMOST every type of music. I will admit, I just can't get with Country and all that hardcore Techno, BUT, to each his own... o_O. With this being said, I've just went on a little..binge, if you will, of searching for new music. I'm hungry for different stuff, and I have indeed found some tastes to satisfy myself. So, I'm going to be posting some new, and old, music that many people may not have heard of or just never cared to listen to. Now don't worry, I don't listen to any "weird" stuff, but we all obviously have different tastes, so just be a good sport, keep an open mind, OPEN EARS and give all this shit a good listen! =)

First up: I just discovered this nice joint called, Willing To Ride by The
Warm Brew. A group of 4 guys out of LA, Ray Wright; Espy; Manu Li & Serk Spliff bring you this crazy, cool feelin' song. Right from the start you will be noddin' your head right along to the beat; it's chill, interestingly good with the different elements of it, sort of an old-school feel and it just makes you want to vibe to it..even dance if that's your thing. I guarantee you will want to listen to this track again and after you listen to it enough, you WILL be singing along to it. Click below to listen and/or download. ENJOY!

Shared Memory #1

I'm about to post on here once a week about a funny ass memory with some of my closest friends. The names Tony Menzo, Sonam Bass, Dominique & Chris Frank, Dharez Neal, David ........ FastLifeDave (hahaha), George Dusevic, MARK D'NUNZ, D'juan Riddick, Michael Scott, Tre Jones, and Eric Dixon, (Just to name a few) may be popping up quite a bit in this segment. So with the first post, I start the segment.

This memory occured my senior year of high school going into my freshmen year of college. Well, that summer. Myself, Michael Scott, D'juan Riddick and Sonam Bass were coming back from our (rich) friends yacht down in Detroit watching the annual fireworks. While riding up Woodward Ave towards Birmingham we decided to stop at a White Castle to pick up something to eat. Little did we know our dear friend D'juan had no clue what White Castle was. So we pull up at the speaker order our food and D'juan says "Well guys my mom usually just gets the crave case, so.... uhh.... how big are the burgers here." The car went silent......... Then just bursted out with laughter.

That my friends is my first shared memory.
